Kate details

Kate was not due until Sept 1st. A week early, my water broke early Friday morning, August 22nd. I was not sure it was my water that had broken since I'd never experienced it before. Carsyn and Autumn were both induced. I called my oldest sister and my doc. office for advice. The doc office confirmed that what I was describing was NOT my water. So I proceeded to drive across town to a park with a friend. After an hour at the park I was SURE the doctor was wrong and I called again only to be told to head to the hospital. Two hours later David and I arrived at the hospital, after packing my bags, feeding the girls lunch, finding somone to stay at the house with the girls (THANKS Ms. Oswald!!!) and waiting for David to drive home from work. We checked into the hospital at 1:30. Found out at 2 that the baby was breech and there was no way to turn him/her since I was having contractions and my water had broken. I was in shock that I was getting ready to have a c section. By 4:13 we had our sweet baby Kate. David got to announce to me that it was yet another girl. We couldn't be happier. The c section went smoothly and recovery has gone well too. We are blessed to have 3 beautiful healthy little girls!
